Foamrox CEO Glenn A. Jakobsen believes this will strengthen the supply of cellular glass in Norway and looks forward to a good collaboration with Glapor. Cellular glass, or foam glass as it is also called, is made from recycled glass and can eventually replace oil-based insulation in buildings and tunnels. With the government's goal of zero emissions, cellular glass as insulation is an excellent alternative that will contribute to this goal.
"We are noticing that the demand for cellular glass as insulation is increasing, and with Glapor as our partner, we want to be able to expand the range from tunnels and facilities to also being able to deliver to buildings," says Glenn.
Glapor's Marketing and Technology Manager, Helge Flöge, says of the agreement: "We strongly believe in our shared mission to make sustainable insulation materials accessible to everyone. The Foamrox team is an enthusiastic group of professionals who share our ambitions for a world with less plastic."
